Photo Restoration and Editing Services
For all restoration and editing work, photonurse will make a digital copy of the original to work upon, meaning your original will not be altered in any way. We prefer to work from the original photo but can work scanned images that you send us (as long as hi-res), negatives or slides.
Photonurse can also convert any number of 35mm slides or negatives for you and can show you the results before you decide whether any further enhancements are necessary. These enhancements will then fall within our restoration prices.
Please note all costs are estimated individually according to the amount of work required. Photonurse will not commence any work until you tell us you are happy with the estimate provided. Remember you do not pay unless you are happy with the work. Prices quoted include one 6”x4” print and a digital file for restoration and editing projects.
Please be assured that all original photos, slides and negatives will be handled with extreme care.
Photo Restoration and Editing Costs
Photo Restoration & Photo Repair
Basic - repair of minor damage including creasing and fading. Cropping or re-sizing if required from £10
Intermediate - more extensive crease removal or fading. Slight tears but not to main feature. Replacement of small missing areas from £15
Advanced - Repair of serious damage, large tears, facial damage from £25
Photo Editing
Cosmetic - blemish removal/sepia or black & white transformation/cropping & resizing/adding frames & borders from £7.50
Advanced manipulation - Montage creation/Background removal/changes/Character removal or addition/Background black & white with specified subject or object in colour from £15 depending on complexity.

We try to complete all work within 10 days of receipt but if you want your project to be fast tracked, you can pay the following premiums:

Slides, Negatives and Video Tape Conversion
Slides/Negative Scanning
Basic scanning and provision of resulting photos on disk - from .75p per scan (dependant on number), and £1 for the CD/DVD. Again if you decide you wish any of these to then be enhanced they will fall under our restoration prices.
VHS/Camcorder Tapes to DVD are £10 each, which includes a plastic jewel case for each. The cover of the jewel case can be customised for an extra £1 charge. For several tapes we will offer a bulk price - this work can be done in phases. Please enquire for further details.
